Spike in ring with 'MMA Junkie Live'

Worried that the end of Occupy Wall Street's faceoff with the NYPD means there won't be any more beatings in the news? Spike has a solution: "MMA Junkie Live" will provide mixed martial arts fans with coverage of the sport-fighting world starting in January. The net confirmed to Variety its plans to go all-unscripted; news content has been a large part of Spike's mandate, with focus on videogames and other male-dominated sectors of entertainment. The show is a partnership with MMAjunkie.com, part of USA Today Sports Media Group. Half-hour series will be hosted by MMA experts and reporters who will discuss and debate the fighting news of the day; news show will also emphasize social media engagement.
